Darien Pediatric Associates offers specialized medical care for teens and young adults through Dr. Tsimoyianis’ services in Adolescent Medicine.
Adolescent Medicine is a board-certified pediatric sub-specialty centered on the care of patients from pre-teens to young adults up to age 26. It addresses the unique health and emotional needs of patients in this age group by focusing on their transitions from childhood to adulthood. Specialized care is available for patients who have complex medical problems.
Dr. Tsimoyianis (better known to patients as Dr. T) is board-certified in Adolescent Medicine and works with patients and their support systems to provide care that is tailored to each individual. Treatment encompasses, but is not limited to, body image, physical development, nutrition, sexuality, mental health and substance abuse.
Dr. T is available for routine check-ups and private consultation. Late afternoon and early evening appointments can be requested. Additionally, there is a private waiting area for adolescent and young adult patients.
